Luis is a Lean Manufacturing Specialist with over 40 years of broad accumulated knowledge and experience in management, engineering and manufacturing. For the last 15 years he has concentrated in the application of lean manufacturing principles to small and midsize companies in various industries. He helps clients identify opportunities for business operational opportunities that improve competitiveness and profitability, and apply Lean manufacturing techniques and quality principles.

Background: Prior to co-founding LEAP, Luis was with CONNSTEP, a manufacturing consulting firm; President, Investex Associates, a JIT and business consulting firm; Senior Manufacturing Operations Consultant and Practice Leader with Arthur D. Fred Stern, Co-founder, Lean Enterprise Acceleration Program (LEAP)

Fred Stern is a Lean Enterprise Specialist with over 30 years of experience in business management, business systems, engineering, field service and distribution. Fred has been transforming manufacturing companies using Lean and process re-engineering techniques since the early 1980's. His business systems background provides an intimate understanding of the processes used to flow information throughout the organization. This knowledge, combined with his association with groundbreaking leaders in Lean Accounting theory and techniques, enables Fred to help management focus on the goals and measures important for company growth.
